Have an old fashioned treasure hunt at home or somewhere fun. Begin by giving your partner a note with instructions for going to the next clue. At each clue you can leave a little gift if you like. It could be something handmade with special meaning. At the end of the clues, have some surprise waiting. Let your imagination run wild.

Plan a vacation, short trip, or special occasion that you both want to make happen. You’ll need a piece of poster board or cardboard, a few magazines, scissors and glue. Sit together and cut out pictures and words that represent your dream-time together. Give it a title and glue everything onto your poster board so it inspires you to work towards making it happen. Put it in a place that both of you will see often. Make a plan so the money and time will be available on the date you have chosen and make it so you can watch it happening. Maybe a graph? Don’t let anything get in the way of this special event happening exactly as you wish.

Create a treasure map to a romantic place. Write a list of instructions that will take your lover to a special place. Be waiting with a little food and drink...and of course, you.

Do something for your partner this week that you know will "melt their heart." Maybe something you used to do or if you can't think of anything, pay attention to little signals like what someone does in a movie. Be creative and even outrageous.
